About David Bailey & BioStrat...
David Bailey received an upper second class B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the University of North London in 1980. After working as a well-logger for the Analysts International S.A. in the North Sea, Mediterranean and West Africa, he completed his M.Sc. in Palynology at the University of Sheffield in 1984.
David was then employed by BP as a biostratigrapher in their Aberdeen office where he worked primarily on integrating Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary biostratigraphical data with other geological/geophysical data.
After leaving BP, BioStrat Ltd. was established in 1988 and our high quality work found instant favour with the oil and gas industry in both the UK and Norway.
